Orienteering
We had so much fun taking part in some orienteering last week! Thank you to Ms Farrell and Ms Fenton who organised this for us!
Using the iPads for the first time!
We are so lucky in our school - we have gotten some iPads to use and they are fantastic! We are enjoying learning how to use them, and playing lots of educational games :) :)
Halloween Playtime
We are having lots of fun exploring and experimenting with Halloween play time. We are making scary critters with clay, making potions and measuring them out, building spooky haunted houses and lots lots more!
Exploring our feelings using playdough
We are learning about all of our different feelings - sad, excited, angry, happy, frustrated, shocked ..... We used play dough to model the eyes, mouth, nose, and eyebrows! These all change depending on how you are feeling.
Making Butter!
We are learning about the farm this week and talking about where our food comes from. Our student-teacher, Ms. O'Halloran, showed us how to make butter. All you need is cream (which comes from milk), and a strong arm to shake it!
